Shedding Summer Skin, a Tan Renga

Good day dear friends and followers,

As you all know maybe, I have a daily haiku meme at Blogger, Chèvrefeuille’ s Carpe Diem Haiku Kai and this month I have started there the first Carpe Diem Tan Renga Challenge Month. A Tan Renga is a short chained poem of two stanzas written by two poets. In every episode I share a haiku from one of the contributors to Carpe Diem’s daily haiku meme as being the first stanza of the Tan Renga. The goal is to make the Tan Renga complete by adding a second (two line) stanza of 7-7 syllables.

The Tan Renga was this time started by Maggie Grace here it follows:

shedding summer skin
willow floats downstream
reflecting season’s end                                                       (Maggie Grace)

winter perfume overwhelms my senses
in early spring snowdrops bloom                                       (Chèvrefeuille)

Well … I am glad that I could share this with you all. And I hope you liked it. See you another time.

Namaste
