Carpe Diem Haiku Kai goes on a pilgrimage

Good day,

A new Carpe Diem month has started. February is pilgrimage month. This month (and the following month) we are going on a pilgrimage along the 88 temples on the Japanese Island Shikoku. This pilgrimage will lead us along he path which Kobo Daishi (774-835) walked.
For Buddhists it’s a once in a lifetime duty to go on this pilgrimage and as you maybe know, classical haiku have a deeper Buddhistic layer … so as haijin (haiku poets) we have to walk that path too.
