Carpe Diem ”Distillation”, Tagore’s ”Lotus”

At Carpe Diem Haiku Kai, my daily haiku meme, I have posted an all new episode of Carpe Diem’s ”Distillation” in which the goal is to ”distil”  a haiku from a longer poem. For this episode I have chosen a poem by Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1941) titled ”Lotus”. You can find that poem at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.

Here is my ”distillation” of a haiku from the poem Lotus by Tagore:

strange perfume
from a far away place
lotuses blooming

If you like composing haiku and share them with the world? Well … feel free to visit Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.
