Carpe Diem Winter Retreat 2016, find the silence

meditation1_663

Dear friends,

A few days ago the first Carpe Diem Winter Retreat started. This time the theme is “find the silence”, and the goal is to write a haiku or tanka, every one for 30 days. The Winter Retreat runs to December 15th 2016 (10.00 PM CET).
Seeking for the silence can bring you to higher levels of consciousness, but that of course is not the goal, or the intention of this Winter Retreat. Just a nice challenge to create haiku and tanka on “find the silence”.

Here is a tanka which I submitted for this Winter Retreat:

silk tree blossoms
in a soothing summer rain
trembling in silence
silk tree blossoms, so fragile,
in a summer breeze

See you ….
