What a joy to see new websites bloom for my beloved haiku. Just today I ran into a new weekly haiku-meme at Haiku Horizons. This week the prompt is ”return” and it inspired me to write the following haiku:
return to innocence
a life halfway past –
the scent of roses
Isn’t it a beauty? Yes it is, but that very immodest to say of your own haiku. So … let me know what you think about it. Haiku is ”my art” for more than 25 years now and I like composing them as always. Thank you for giving the opportunity to share this wonderful form of poetry with the world.

You have all rights to be immodest. It really is wonderful.
