Good day visitors,
Yesterday Summer started. In the region where I live we have a great summer solstice festival with lots of art forms such as poetry, music and so on. This festival takes place in the Robert Morris Observatory (see picture)
This festival is called SUNSATION and you can read more about it on the link given.
Summer Solstice
the longest day of the year
welcomed with music
the Observatory
welcomes the Summer
with joy and laughter
finally Summer
after a rainy Springtime
at last sunshine
Well … dear visitors I hope you enjoyed this post on the Summer Solstice.
Sounds like so much fun, Kris. Enjoyed your haiku.
Thank you. It is fun every year again. The summer solstice is worth a festival.
Lovely post about Summer Solstice ~ maybe I should move there ~ they don’t do much here for Summer Solstice ~ (have to look around probably)
Great that you included your wonderful haiku ^_^ (A Creative Harbor)
