Good Day dear friends, visitors and travelers by,
Long time that I posted here. I am to busy with all my other things. One of them is my ‘Google-weblog’ http://chevrefeuillescarpediem.blogspot.com on which I give a prompt on a daily base.
Today I have started a new feature on Carpe Diem and I love to share that here with you all. What’s the goal? I have called it ‘Carpe Diem’s Tan Renga Challenge’, and it’s the purpose to write the second stanza of the Tan Renga. Each episode of this challenge I give the first stanza of three lines (5-7-5 syllables) and my visitors can write the second two-line stanza (7-7 syllables) through association on the first three-line stanza.
The given first stanza is a haiku written by Jane Reichhold:
scattered in sand
embers of a saltwood fire
face to face with stars
And I have written the next two-line stanza:
buttocks in cool wet sand
magical way of love
So when I place these both stanza together the Tan Renga becomes visible.
scattered in sand
embers of a saltwood fire
face to face with stars
buttocks in cool wet sand
magical way of love
Well … what do you think of this Tan Renga? Do you like it? Come on visit my weblog at: http://chevrefeuillescarpediem.blogspot.com
Love it .. and this would be great to continue…
Thank you Bjorn. It’s really a joy to see that this new feature is welcomed by all of our friends on Carpe Diem. I will continue this … that’s for sure.
Very nicely done Kristjaan. Brings back lovely memories of long summer nights and chaffed mornings 😉
